50 Years of OTC's Legacy

OTC 2019 had an opening general session on Monday morning, 6 May, under the theme “OTC: The Next 50 Years.” where industry executives explored how companies are preparing for the brave new world of digitalization, automation, and machine learning and discuss their vision for the future of offshore E&P operations.

This globally renowned conference and exhibition gives access to leading-edge technical information, the industry’s largest equipment exhibition, and valuable new professional contacts from around the world. It also features new applications and innovations in oil and gas as well as renewable technologies enhancing offshore rigs and wind turbines. Its large international participation provides excellent opportunities for expertise, products, and best practices bringing together industry leaders, investors, buyers, and entrepreneurs to develop markets and business partnerships.

French Offshore Industry, an Odyssey

Monday through Wednesday, the OTC also featured a new program called the “Around the World Series.” Global industry leaders discussed new licensing and business opportunities, as well as recently introduced technologies. Hear the latest information from principals representing: Australia, Norway, Mexico, France, United Kingdom, Israel, Canada, and Guyana. 

 

Main players in the French oil services sector gathered to discuss about exploration and discovery, developmement and the future of the french offshore industry : this session offered a chance to review yesterday's greatest achievements and understand present and future technical and commercial issues.
